When Otoniel (this coffee’s producer) was only 15 years old, he started his own small coffee farm, a piece of his fathers farm that he gave him to experiment on. Over the years, Otoniel slowly became more independant, putting into practice everything that his father taught him, and he soon took over the rest of the farm. A large portion of work on this farm is carried out by Otoniel and he is watching his story repeat, as his son also assists him in hopes to take over the farm one day. For this reason, Otoniel has decided to go the extra mile and improve the quality of his coffees to sell on the specialty coffee market, to make a better wage so he can provide for his son and set him up with a better future.
